Terence Crawford, the reigning pound-for-pound king, has been floated as a potential challenger, despite the considerable weight gap between the two. Another crowd-favorite matchup would be against David Benavidez. However, that bout seems off the table after Benavidez moved up to 175 pounds and confirmed he wouldn’t be returning to the super-middleweight division.
